Marsh Mint: "Sa-ra-nae"
The fresh leaves of this herbaceous plant are used as a flavoring and eaten raw in Thai cuisine. Volatile oil contents give the plant several therapeutic uses, including carminative, mild antiseptic, local anesthetic, diaphoretic and digestant properties.
